How to do the Osis

The osis combines a butterfly with a full ATW circle: the butterfly spin generates momentum, and on the butterfly kick the player's leg continues into a full around-the-world arc before the second contact. Spin plus circle equals osis.

STEP BY STEP

1. Initiate a butterfly: kick the bag and begin the 180° spin.
2. As the butterfly kick contacts the bag, do not stop the leg — continue it into a full ATW circle.
3. Your leg circles around the airborne bag while your body completes the butterfly spin.
4. Strike the bag a second time as your leg completes the ATW arc.
5. Land and continue play.

TIPS

• The butterfly kick must go high to give the ATW circle time to complete.
• Think of it as a butterfly where the kicking leg does not stop — it keeps going around.
• Master the butterfly and ATW individually until both are smooth before combining.
